I know they didn't mean to do this but with all the FOX bashing I thought this was fair.

That you thought it was fair is exactly the problem.

It's like responding to Chappaquiddick by saying, "Well, Laura Bush killed someone in a car accident too!" Even though Kennedy was drunk and didn't report it for hours, does that make it the same?

I know it's hard for conservatives to grasp (especially those who love to trot out mistreatment of Bush as a response to the threats Obama has received) but motivation matters.

It's when they do something intentionally, or the pattern is so consistent that claims of "accident" don't ring true any more (like Fox putting a "D" after a GOP congressman/Senator's name when he becomes embroiled in scandal, as has happened multiple times) that criticism is warranted.

Putting sound to film, especially added music not present in the original filming, is an intentional effort. The added music made the clip of that old lady entering her retro cadillac (in an urban setting) look like an an opening number for the movie "Shaft". While it was someone's intentional behind-the-scene's effort to include that song in CNN's music library and/or in the video, it obviously was not the intention of the entire CNN organization to have such music included in their broadcasted news report. And, CNN did the right PR thing in apologizing right away to rectify the issue. IMO, the issue is resolved.
