DENVER - Two commercial pilots allegedly fell asleep on a flight between Baltimore and Denver, with one pilot waking up to "frantic" calls from air traffic controllers warning them they were approaching the airport at twice the speed allowed.>>

The thing that really kills me is that it's a pretty short flight isn't it? I mean, it's never "okay", but I could imagine this maybe happening on a long haul flight between New York and Australia or something...but a couple hours domestic flight!?

    Yikes.

I should think the same should've happened to these pilots at the very least!

And the fact that they BOTH fell asleep.

Thanks goodness the computer does such a great job of flying the plane. What do pilots do during these times (besides sleeping). I'll bet TDLFan has some horror stories to share.
