Like Michael, Jim Hensen came from outta the blue, and shocked many people. The upshot was a lot of grumbling from Sammy supporters about that puppet guy that stepped all over Sammy's final bow. This is a bit different. I sense that the public - at least in the US - has a greater level of goodwill towards Farrah these days. For all of Michael's enormous fame and talent, he had a spectacular fall from grace several years back, and never publicly rehabilitated his image. It's too bad too. Michael's planned run of shows in London later this summer was supposed to be his big return to the stage. Now we'll never know.
