If so, I wouldn't have much confidence in the figures. I recognize what the intent of the Nazis was. I recognize that the Holocaust did exist. I'm just wondering if MANY of the civilian casualty figures of WWII have been exaggerated.

It seems clear to me that only a country that has guts, like Israel, will ever challenge countries like Iran. But it won't be soon enough in my opinion. It seems too late to affect any changes in the middle east and a world war of some sort will likely occur within the next decade.

You also have to occupy that country as well, and continue to behave in this manner until the lesson is learned. We are STILL in Germany, with about 20 bases. The main thing is the hand wringing and the self questioning simply can't go on if you want to win. To win, you have to want to kill the enemy. That's the only way to win.

But now, since Iran is hosting this Holocaust forum in which they are denying the Holocaust ever took place, suddenly Iran is evil just for that reason. Germany's leader says Iran should never be allowed to have a nuclear bomb. Mahmoud Ahmadinejad says the Holocaust is a myth. Tony Blair says he is outraged beyond belief. Excuse me, but shouldn't we be worrying just a bit less about some Holocaust forum full of nutcases and more about Iran's financing and training of terrorists? How about their nuclear ambitions? It would seem people are more worried about what Iran thinks of something that happened 60 years ago than what is going on now...which is their relentless quest for a nuclear weapon and their support for Al-Qaeda. Perhaps the world will wake up to what we've been saying for a long time now.>>

The bush administration is singularly unqualified to press this case, wholly because of their record of lying about iraq and saddam. And who's fault is that? They have no credibility left only because they squandered it on iraq. That's yet another facet of their incompetence. They've been using al qaeda and bin laden as a convenient boogeyman, yet their own actions have made al qaeda stronger and more threatening. And they're not even pretending to be seeking bin laden anymore - he'll die of old age. Bush doesn't even mention him, either because he's incapable of eliminating him or just doesn't want to. Boortz's premise is flawed from the outset - that the world has it all wrong and that we americans are righteous heroes who seek to right wrongs protect the weak. In actuality, our actions only strengthen the terrorists and shift power TO iran, and to al qaeda. And bin laden - who's he?
