This group was started to provide medical care in third-world countries. You know, Kenya (you remember Kenya - the President was born there), Haiti, Zimbabwe, etc. But it turns out they're spending a lot of time in the good old U.S. of A. Why? Because Americans are now so lacking in healthcare that they require assistance from this group. And by the way, most of the people who lined up in Los Angeles for help, HAD jobs and HAD healthcare. So spare me the "well it's probably just a bunch of lazy illegals!" argument. But their healthcare didn't cover dental, or eyeglasses, etc. So they lined up at 2AM and kept their children out of school for the day so they could get taken care of. Welcome to the greatest country (and the richest country) in the world, where a non-profit healthcare foundation, destined to be in Africa, has set up shop.
