It's one thing to advocate for english being the country's primary language. But it's an entirely different thing to say:

"We should replace bilingual education with immersion in English so people learn the common language of the country and they learn the language of prosperity, not the language of living in a ghetto..."

So bilingual education teaches the language of living in the ghetto. Maybe if Newt wasn't so preoccupied with cheating on his wife he'd find time to remove the hood from his head and take the foot out of his mouth.

Well, then why didn't he say just that? Likely it wasn't too tough for you to come up with.

It's been my experience that when people say things like this, it's often a window into their true feelings. Despite this, Gingrich is a smart guy. He knew what he was saying. Like Coulter, he was playing to a cheering crowd, preaching to the choir, as it were.

Actually, tho politically incorrect it is, I agree with the essence of what he is meaning. And as for cheating on his wife, Clinton set the example to be followed.
