The first thing I'll do is check the ads see what I really want. Usually my sister and I go to two different stores, and pick up eachothers things that we want in those stores. You have to understand I am on a very limited budget so even 5 dollars will make a difference to me. TO her she does it for the sport lol. Then we always meet up at Ihop and eat breakfast, swap money and swap items.

I would never do Best Buy or Walmart, but I am thinking about Target as they have the ITune $25 GC for $20, plus if you spend $100, you get a GC for $10. Of course, I also have to hit Penneys to get my snowglobe. I also need to find out if Sports Authority is doing the scratch offs this year. If so, I will have to work them in too.

About 15ish years ago we stopped going to Tahoe. We continued the shopping/lunch at a nearby center that didn't have many crazy deals and was pretty uncrowded. We did try to hit a few stores that opened at EIGHT AM!!!! and gave out freebies at that time. Now our oldest DD will be up at 3am heading to Target and has a full plan of attack according to when the stores open. She has volunteered to be the personal shopper for the family Youngest DD (who will likely be looking at clothes) and I and maybe son's fiancee will venture out at some point. Depends on the ads and most importantly where we can have lunch Hopefully we'll meet up at some point with my sister and niece who will be heading for the toy/electronic stores. We'll likely be texting like crazy

I can go early and the mall I go to isn't that crowded so I get a great parking space. Everyone I have encountered is typically in a very festive mood as they aren't stressed about getting everything done. I have had to go out once on Christmas eve for something, and that was just a madhouse.

Plus, I MAY buy a Kitchenaid mixer finally this year... as long as I don't have to go to Best Buy to get it, that is! I do NOT want to line up at noon on Thanksgiving, ya know?
