I have heard a lot of negative things about the parking structure. ie: it doesn’t open until a half hour before the park, you have to wait in line for up to 30 minutes to park, and tram lines can be 15 minutes or more. I am one of those, be at the gate at LEAST 15 minutes before park opening, people. Is this possible when parking at the structure? Any inside tips would be appreciated. :)

We are also thinking about an alternative I fly in Thursday night, he will still pick me up and we would just stay the night at a hotel, probably HOJOS as they will let us keep our car there while at the park on Friday.

I've had to wait a while to park on really crowded days but it's not necessarily a reflection of how crowded it will be inside. As far as trams, I've never waited more then 10 minutes. Even on really crowded days. All in all, I've had good experiences with the structure. I wouldn't stress too much over it.

I must say...the structure is lovely, and the CM who gave us directions back to the freeway didn't laugh at us once.
