I didnt like Ali G but that is not my style of comedy. He could be doing much more intelligent types of comedy but slap-stick and stupidity appeals to more people because they do not have to think very much. (which I admit is why I like watching Polly Shore movies on a rare occasion. I can shut down completely and still get all his "jokes") Maybe it wasnt my time but I really dont see the appeal of Andy Coffman(sp?) either.
