This is the second time that Fox has opted not to show a national address by the President. Interesting that none of the other national broadcast networks are making the same decision, even the ones that have news oriented cable networks.

There are quite a few households without cable/satellite TV.

It's the Fox broadcaster, that resides on public airwaves but doesn't see that they have any mandate to use those airwaves for the public interest.

    I don't think so.

Need we revisit the worldwide propaganda speech at the U.N. telling the world about WMDs in Iraq? It's really hard to top that.

You got an advanced look at what he's going to say or something? Way to keep an open mind.

The last dipsh-- of a president was the least communicative we've ever had. Obama makes every attempt to communicate and be transparent, and he gets ripped for it.

I think this is a fantastic idea. Some sort of rotation system works great, so long as the other stations include a crawl which mentions the President is speaking and which station to turn to if you wish.

When I was a kid, I can tell ya I hated NOONE more than Jimmy Carter (I didn't even know what "President" meant, really, all I knew was that jerk kept coming on TV and usurping all my shows and ruining so many carefree nights with his gloomy demeanor). :p
