It's a 10-inch tall flat wooden Christmas tree holiday decoration....very cute...has flat ornaments already on it you paint...little stars, bulbs, santas and reindeer....

It's just a cheap-o little kit I bought from a co-workers child for a school fundraiser and it came with a little set of paints....red, yellow, blue (? not a fan of blue christmas anythings), green, black and white.....so here's my question..

Of the above colors....what do I mix to make a brown for the reindeer? LOL! I'm not that attached to this decoration, or motivated enough to go to a craft store just for brown paint, I did look at target...no brown.

Can anyone help my decoration from ending up with blue reindeers with green antlers?!?!

(change to "ink & paint down" in the lower right part of the screen.)

Short answer: You can mix red + green to make brown. You can add some yellow or black to darken or lighten the shade of brown you're looking for.

Be sure to mix a batch large enough to cover whatever surface you're painting. It's pretty tough to make a second batch that will match exactly.

Very pretty shade of brown, that.
