Here is what he had to say about someone who has at least a 50/50 chance of being the next President of the United States. "That's why I want to invite Senator Obama because he needs to do something about those skinny legs. I'm going to make him do some squats. "And then we're going to make him do some biceps curls to beef up those scrawny little arms. But if he could only do something about putting some meat on his ideas. "Senator McCain on the other hand is built like a rock. His character and his views are solid." This is not the first time I've read stuff of this ilk from him. As adults, I respect that on Tuesday he will be voting to protect my right to marry. But I am pretty darn sure that if we were both nine, he'd have picked on me pretty routinely. An occasional beating up wouldn't be out of the question. He talks like a bully and a jerk. We are likely to have a President who works out most every morning, who plays basketball often and well. Does the Fitness Governor applaud that? No. He makes fun of him for being skinny. He brags on McCain for being "built like a rock". Now, I don't know how much McCain works out. I don't know how much a man in his 70s who can't lift his arms can work out. And I don't intend to make fun of him for his limitations. But to brag about McCain's physique in contrast to Obama's. Please. Most of the take away for me is simply that my Governor is a jerk. A bully. I also take away that he judges you, not on what you do (exercise and play basketball) but on how you look ("those skinny legs"). If there were a vacancy in a California Senate seat, I could almost say "Well, I'm not voting for him. But if Schwarzenegger won, that wouldn't be the worst thing." Just based on his policies. But how he treats other people is also important in a leader. And, not for the first time, Schwarzenegger has reminded me that I cannot stand the way he treats other people. I was skinny. I was an outsider. Obama can make me feel good about that. I wish the Governor would try that - make people feel good about who they are rather than feeling good by putting down other people. I'd love to see Schwarzenegger try to keep up with Obama on the court. I'm glad the man who is likely to be our next President knows what it's like to not fit into some people's concept of the ideal ... to treat people well regardless of who they are or what they look like ... and to accept himself for who he is. And lastly, we've got a guy who works hard to stay healthy, has mostly successfully beaten a cigarette addiction, and who shoots hoops every chance he gets ... being mocked for his build by a retired entertainer who looks so good partly because of years of steroid use (which Schwarzenegger has admitted to). Governor, I've never met you. But I feel like a know you. I remember you from the elementary school playground. And from the hallways in high school. Thank you for voting against Prop 8. But don't expect this girlie man to ever vote for you unless you start working on getting your attitude toward other people in better shape.

When his run here is over I think the book will say he fell somewhat short of expectations, and it pains me to say that.

I don't know the guy, and neither do any of you really (granted you live in Califoria and probably have some beefs with him...I dunno). He seems pretty genuine, and if he was a bully as a kid it really doesn't show. A friend of mine met him when he was working entertainment at Disneyland. They all had some time to kill before the show, and Arnold hung out with everyone and made jokes and chatted...UNLIKE the bulk of celebrities who would skulk in a corner hanging with their entourage (according to my friend). So, I think post one is a little, well..bitchy? Or jealous maybe? He sure is a tough guy and that's not in question, but I don't think he flaunts it and he seems pretty genuine to me. AND a pretty decent public servent to boot...can YOU honestly say that you'd give up your next quadrazillion dollars to go and serve the state in a low paying job where a bunch of people call you a jerk? As for his views on McCain? I don't agree. But come on...he gives his usual shtick about being Mr Universe and by the way Obama is skinny (what did you expect?) and that's a big deal? I don't see it.

I was all for him at first, now, he makes me cringe more than I would like.

And guys let's get real about this, there are elected official out there calling Obama waaaay worse things than 'skinny' lol. I read something from one of these morons, that I litterally cant put it here because it would violate community standards...litterally. Cut Arnie a break on this one, he was having some fun, nothing more.

I want his steroided fat ass back here in California addressing the immediate problems we face instead of being somewhere back in Ohio strutting around for some loser of a candidate he can't save, anyway.

I have no idea whether or not he's a nice guy or a good governor (I can only conclude that he couldn't POSSIBLY be the WORST governor in America ).
