AND already discussing how the Republicans are going to let them down and screw them over. I guess they've whipped themselves up to such a frenzy that they'd be angry no matter WHAT the outcome. On the left, it's even weirder. Many are morose, some talking about taking the "failed" Obama out in the 2012 primaries (yeah, that always works out well!). Very few seem to be blaming the right wing, which surprises me. But the reaction from the "still faithful" gets weirder still. They're pulling out the race card..on each other! Anyone who says "Obama is in trouble" or "he let us down" gets a volley of angry replies..."yeah, stick it to the black guy!", "you're just upset cause he's black!" etc... Which is weird since I don't think I've heard this much race baiting since, well, since way before Obama even came on the scene. It's not as if a new President didn't lose big in the first midterm before, it's pretty much a trend. Yet these folks seem to think it all comes down to the color of the President's skin. All in all, very strange reactions (I think I could've easily predicted the right wing reaction, but what's happening on the left is really quite beyond what I would've guessed). Thoughts?
