Now lately I been thinking, I want to learn how to play the Guitar someday, never played any instruments before. So Maybe I'll learn someday.

How about the rest of ya?

I would like to have self confidence in the things that I love to do and in daily life.
I have always wanted to be a blacksmith. I also want to learn more painting techniques so I can be better at painting the things that I paint.

Hey AHH, I had an electric blue mohawk with hot pink tips when I was in my teens. Hair cut's and color are fun!

    Here are some current ones:

I have 100 lbs more to lose, already 70 down.

I will make it to all of the Disney resorts around the globe one day (3 down, Asia to go, currently saving). Also, when I go, I want to be able to speak rudimentary Japanese and MAnderin. I am currently working on that.

My current career goal is to significantly reduce HIV transmissions in London, increase testing, reduce the budget slightly and be prepared with a plan that takes us to 2016 including the Olympics.

For my business, I am in year one of my 5 year business plan, and ahead of plan, which is lovely. I will be looking to grow capacity and resources over the coming years and am looking forward to it.

One day I will finish my PHD. I had to stop for economic and family health reasons. It is one of the great things I want to achieve before I die.

I need to continue writing the books I have started, but never completed. Tales of fantasy, and others that tell of experience and the amazing factors in life, and some on philosphy.

I want my pilots licence. I used to be a licenced sailing ship skipper, and have driven steam trains and other motor vehicles. Need to conquer the air.

But most important to me, I want to be a good father, husband, son, brother, and friend. This is perhaps the greatest challenge, and one where I feel depleated often. If my kids grow up to healthy, happy, confident and still like and love me in their adulthood, but are also independent, then I think that could be my greatest achievement (and I want to improve my health so I can see it happen and meet my grand children one day).

I am on a mission, and have been virtually my whole life. I have been blessed with some amazing experiences in my life, and like many, some really tragedies to grow and learn from, and wonderful opportunities to hopefully make a difference. I do not feel I have done anywhere near enough with my life. But I am pretty happy with the fact I have tried, and learn and continue to grow, and know that I know much, and at the same time very little.

When I was a child and again as a young man, I said I wanted to work for the UN. I am wondering about whether it is time to make another approach? But another part of has to focus on the now.

And so much more. Life is for living!

I look forward to reading what other LPers think, wish for, dream and do.

I love that you have so many goals Dave, I forgot my weight loss goal too. I'm about half way to my goal, so you're doing better than me there.

I've been on an elusive diet since I was 14. Now health issues have kicked in so I seem to be "getting it" finally and I feel like it's within my grasp.

I used to have a goal of finishing college. About 10 years ago I realized that I never really cared and kinda hated school :)

I'd like to actually do some of the scrapbooking that I have planned. I seem to be more of a collector of scrapbooking stuff than an actual scrapbooker. I'm about 4 years behind.

Emotional goals are living a full life, seeing my kids and grandkids happy and healthy and ending my days sitting in a rocking chair with my DH at my side.
