The inference is that donny is opposed to gay rights, gay marriage, gay equality, and presumeably gay sex. Yet he seems oddly fixated on the topic. He's said in the past that he "doesn't care" about gay marriage, but I'm not convinced.

I could make all kinds of uninformed conclusions, but I won't. I'll just say that it's odd - queer even - how fascinated he is by the topic.

......which makes me respect the "bigot" more than Obama for I'll take an honest bigot over a poser almost any day.

It's by far the closest any Pres or Pres candidate (which is what he'll be again) has come to endorsing the idea.

Now, denying them the OPTION of marriage is a whole other kettle of fish.

As far as the whole "gay is sinful" meme, that comes from a short quote in the bible that has often been interpreted one way or the other (man laying with man is abomination, or something like that), but the part I find interesting is how in the very same passage the eating of shellfish is condemned, as well.

How many hypocrites enjoy lobster and clams while happily condemning the gays for *their* "sin", I wonder?
