And again, for those who think their vote doesn't matter, that margin is less than .03%.

It's a longshot, but if Franken wins the recount, wouldn't that be something to take O'Reilly up on?

LOL, if he would have made that announcement a few days ago, it might have tilted the election strongly for Franken. Of course, Ireland might not be so happy about it.

And Ann Coulter campaigned for Hillary.

Either way, I got sick of both of these jokers during the campaign. The mute button on our TV remote got used a lot over the past several months.

... unless the losing candidate waives it, at least in MN. It would seem that Coleman's comments are designed to encourage Franken to do so.

Agree 100%. I think they should disqualify both of those A-holes and give the Senate seat to Barkley; the guy I voted for. I just could not vote for either Coleman or Franken after the disgusting campaigns they ran.

So those extra 100 votes were part of what got Franken closer. Coleman also tried to block some absentee ballots in a heavily Democratic area. It didn't work out either.

This thing ain't over. Sorry to you Minnesotans that have to continue to listen to both of them while the recount goes forward :)

And from what I hear, it's going to be weeks. They first must get the certified counts from the election which are more than a week away before they even start the recount, and that process will take several weeks.

Yes, you will have some issues with "Is it a mark?", or Double marks (which IMHO is a NO vote, if you can't tell, it doesn't go to either candidate).

Plus the issue of provisional ballots.

But at least you can say for the vast majority of ballots, it is either Person A, B or C.

Of course, I also hope that match up the count of voters per precinct, and compare it to the actual number of ballots cast!

I'm not seeing a long drawn out campaign with ads and debates, just a quickie runoff - maybe first week of Jan so that the winner is in place for the congressional session.

I think that some states provide for exactly that for US Senator if one of the candidates doesn't get at least 50% + 1 of the vote.
