The original bride, with her somber demeanor and beating heart was traditionally chilling. Constance is more animated, and seems somewhat maniacal. Contrary to on line rumors, the new bride is not particularly bloody. Personally, I like both of them, but give a slight edge to the original bride. That's probably more a reflection of my traditionalism than a qualitative analysis.

The pictures were absolutely amazing, and they are the first real "how'd they do that?" moment I've had in a very long time. I'm still not entirely sure how it's done. But, I was busy looking as the picture on the right side after the doombuggies came around the bend, and I barely got to see the new bride. From what I saw, she looked alright, but it was very clearly a digital projection, and similar to the ones in Indy and Big Thunder, there's something about the projector that makes it look really fake. I think I almost prefer the quiet haunting bride rather than the talking killing one, but the projector makes the new one too much about the technology and not the effect on the story.
