We had to order up more champagne because people were drinking it as fast as we could pour it. Today's been somewhat of a challenge.

The garland, especially, is no small touch and has been around since before the decoration explosion of the 90's. It might seem trivial, but at this time of year I even miss the wreaths on the parking lot trams and Small World boats.

They could have telescoping poles on the roofs, which are attached to the garlands. A little while before the parade, they could go up to the height needed, and after it's over, they could come right back down. I know that would be a lot of work for something fairly small, but isn't that what makes Disney a step above the rest?

They did not have the garlands across Main Street because a few of the floats from that parade were too tall as well. But once the Christmas Fantasy parade started on Thanksgiving, the garlands went up overnight since those floats are not as tall. But this year, since they are showing the Parade of Dreams all through Christmas, they can't have the garlands. The garland will most likely be back next year when they should just have the Christmas parade, like a normal year.
