The Fox slate is pretty full of blowhards right now, and quite honestly, a lot of Lou Dobbs' schtick was not all that conservative. He earned the ire of many for his continued assault on the Latino community and immigration policy. Most of his other commentary was fairly left-leaning, anti-corporation, populist stuff -- not the kind of ideas Fox generally likes to put on the air. Also, if you listened to Dobbs' farewell speech, I think the tea leaves suggest he may be considering a run for public office. At least that's how I interpreted some of his words.

I dont know, I liked Dobbs. Everynight he looked like he wanted to throw a chair across the room lol. And Olbermanns impersonations of him are classic!!
