As though Captain Dishonorable couldn't screw things up any more...

(on Palin) "She is a direct counterpoint to the liberal feminist agenda for America."

    YEAH!

    Cause feminism totally sucks!

Aw, isn't it great how fantastic his life is? It's fun to read the news and see how many people are in financial ruin and then read him bragging about how blessed he's been. No kidding, McCain. Which of your 8 houses are you going to go home to first?

I think we know what McCain is referring to in this case. I don't begrudge him his feelings on that.

I didn't word my first post very well, either. ;-)

To elaborate, I believe McCain's current behavior might result in someone being murdered.

    Seriously.

Whether it's the candidate getting killed (god forbid), or a news reporter, or someone who works for Acorn, or whoever...if it happens (I hope it does not!) it will be blood on John McCain's hands and everyone knows it.

This is something he should stand up AGAINST right away, before the worst comes down.

I think my "Captain Dishonorable" insult is well deserved. I really hope he'll reverse himself. If not, I really hope the worst doesn't happen. He IS a great American, I don't want to see him tainted and scarred by his horrible recent actions but I have a bad feeling about this.

Actually, I feel that the candidates from both sides do this. But I also feel that the last few presidents have done this, so I guess it's normal. Or maybe it's just me. ;)

Maybe I'm wrong, but as much as I dislike McCain, I don't think he means "I'm rich and you're not!!" by saying this. A lot of people say they are very fortunate and blessed, but have no money at all. you can be fortunate and have a wonderful life without having money -- a wonderful marriage, good, healthy kids, great friends, etc...

And some are blessed when they cheat on their wives and then leave them for a multi-millionairese.
At this juncture, it wouldn't be prudent for a multi-millionaire to gloat about how fortunate they are.

You just don't get LP, do you? Anyone who claims to be happy with their life is obviously an idiot, a liar, or both. You must be MISERABLE because the great God X from the land of Japan decrees it. We must suffer. We must agonize. We must pay the price for electing Bush and making this country into something that that great God X hates.

    Get with the danged program.

You don't get one until you've cheated on your current wife. So, have you cheated on your current wife?

The "Liberal Feminist Agenda" they are talking about is the effort to keep abortion legal.

Now you may justifiably disagree with them about that. But that does not mean they are anti-woman.

At least it's more subtle than "femiNazi."
