I took the Metro and it was like getting off the monorail and getting through the turnstiles to the Magic Kingdom. Hundreds and hundreds of people getting off of the Metro walking out into Arlington Stations ( that could not handle the capacity ). I had to get there very early to get a place. My poor brother melted in his uniform is this heat its 91 here today. Then KJ and I jumped onto the Metro and made our way to the Smithsonian Museum. All I can say is that DC is definately my 2nd home!!! We had lunch at the Native American Museum. On the Metro on the way into DC we had a bunch of Calvary guys ( Rough Riders ) on the train with us. They also hightailed it to the Native American Museum for lunch. I had a lobster roll with wild rice salad and Mexican Hot Chocolate!!!!! Then I bought out the store. My credit cards are suppose to be on vaction this month... but there was this Pendleton jacket I just had to get, LOL. We caught part of the National Memorial Parade and went into the Air and Space Musueum... caught the movie in the Planetarium and walked over to the Naural History Museum and did more shopping. Then went to the Greer Musueum and oggled over all the Whistlers!!!! if only I could take one ( or two ) home. I am having dinner with my brother and his family tonight in Fredricksburg, Virginia and then back to Richmond, Virginia tonight. Happy Memorial Day Everyone!!! Oh and I have been proudly wearing my Laughing Place pin today!!!! Hooray Everyone!!!!

Turns out that a lot of my friends were in town. I didn't have anytime to meet up with some of my friends. This trip there was only time to see family. I had not seen anyone in my family since last July. So this trip ment a lot to me.
