I'm so angry at people who relentlessly work politically and socially against homosexuals. They have the blood of these kids on their hands. Hope they're proud of themselves.

We even have members right here in our little laughing place who actively work to demonize us. And then claim that there is no hate involved.

I don't care how politely you say it. I don't care how nice you are about it. I don't care how toothy your grin is. I don't care how warm your handshake is. I don't care how much money you donated to charity. If you fight against gay rights, if you bully, if you preach it's wrong, You. Are. A. Bigot. Enough is enough.

In this country, in these times, being gay is not a very deal. Being outed against one's will is just not as devastating anymore. I was outed against my will to my Mormon family. The world did not end. I was outed against my will to Mormon roommates who kicked me out. Life went on. Life isn't as easy for homosexuals as it is for straights but come on. Do you really think these guys had any idea this guy would react like this? I suspect not. This suicide is indeed very tragic and my heart goes out to this young man. I just wish he had some positive influences around him to tell him how not a big deal this video was. This tragedy says more about the emotional state of the individual than the state of religious intolerance in this country.

I'm still angry about being admined for calling Hista99 a bigot for the ugly remarks he/she made about Gay Day at DL. The action was unfair and has actually caused me to rethink posting on LP. For the administrators of this site to allow people to say such hateful things knowing full well that this is a diverse group of Disney fans posting here is very troubling to me.

I agree with you 100%, however it could very well be that his homosexuality was something that he was ashamed of and the embarrassment drove him over the edge. He was young and possibly closeted or coming to terms with his sexuality. As crazy as it sounds many gay people are deeply homophobic.

In the past month, 4 teens have taken their lives because they were bullied. It is also up on her site. I don't know if you can see that either, but here is the link. http://ellen.warnerbros.com/20...0930.php

Certainly there are segments of society who do but they are outside the mainstream and not really relevant if you don't want them to be. If anything we are seen as comic relief or silly or fun or frivolous for a lot of people which actually bothers me and I hope we can change. But I've been all over this country and I was never treated as an "abomination" because of my sexuality. Guess I should spend more time in West Virgina?
