Cheney's stoic appearance is the outcome of a coward inside. Someone frozen in fear, who has shut down all levels of pleasure, and higher purpose. Someone not on a spiritual level, but one dealing with base fears. His daughter, possibly his one moment of reaching out to another and showing trust, gives trust to his daughter, but not respect, or pure acceptance. Instead, cheney's daughter, like the rest of the world around him, is all becoming meaningless. So, many possibilities, that every move you make, that is based on past accepted falsehoods, doesn't seem to work anymore, in this wonderful computer age.
