As #2 pointed out there was no clear disaster recovery plan and one had to be created on the fly, which takes time. Of concern is that there is a great deal of methane leakage in the gulf. At its current levels its not threatening but at higher levels it could cause massive ctatstrphics explosions and firestorms in the atmosphere.

We're supposed to be fair, after all, to all points of view. But when is enough enough? And no doubt DAR will see me as just an attempt at playing "gotcha" or "one upmanship." And no doubt he'll respond with another tantrum. But really, it's just the facts. Let's review: DAR tells everyone that if they don't like his posting style, tough. Then he turns around and tells people to "shut up' and that he doesn't need "to hear a diatribe." He repeatedly whines like a petulant child about how "if he did this," or that, he would be told such and such. Of course, he wouldn't be told any such things, but we all know his long history of being incapable of understanding meaning or what other people say. So because of his own inability to understand what other people mean, he gets frustrated and lashes out. He tells 2oony and I that "we don't support or care about the troops." He insists I called him a racist when half-a-dozen other people who read the same thing tell him I did no such thing. Then, when he realizes he's not getting a rise out of me, he tells me I'm a terrible father and he feels bad for my children. When I still don't rise to the bait, he says he'll be the "bigger man" and let it go. Yes, such a big, tough man. His behavior is exactly in line with being a "big man" - name calling, whining, and incessant complaining that things aren't fair for him. And then it reaches a crescendo when, once again due to his own inability to understand nuance, subtlety, and shades of gray, DAR quite literally says he would rather see most of us on WE's die than help us out. They have a name for that friends: sociopathy. An inability to see other people as human beings. Of course, I don't think DAR's a sociopath. And even after all of this, it's clear that somewhere under his dimwitted rage and childish frustration, there's a fun, decent guy. But until it emerges a bit more, I'm saying sayonara. I'm really tired of watching good discussion with good people get hijacked by this person who just isn't bright enough to play with the grown-ups and get along like an adult. Every other post now is him whining and complaining. Enough is enough. So enjoy, friends. I may see you in some of the other sections, but for the most part, I think I'm bowing out. If things change, I may return, but it truly is amazing how one mean-spirited, childish person can really ruin it for the rest of us.

The more you know *star*

But in all honesty... it's the friggin internet. It's not as "serious business" as most people make it out to be. If people gang up on you..fine. Get better proof/arguments or concede the fight. Not ever fight has to fall in your favor. If you feel really strongly about a subject, but everyone gangs up on you... who cares at the end of the day you lost a fight... on the INTERNET.
