That's shorts weather around here. 36 degrees for a low, we here in the midwest mock your 36 degrees. You want cold, try 9 for the high tomorrow.

There may be a market for recording this stuff and showing it in Wisconsin as a sitcom.

We go by the bank and we are talking so a few blocks later he says "oh did you see the temp?" I replied "no, it was broke." He said "broke?" I said "yeah, it said zero." Duh!!!!!!!!!!!!! Welcome to ChiTown, took a whole winter to live that down. As the winter was coming to an end, my boss calls me one day and says I want you to get in the car and take a drive. I was confused... He said "it's finally 35 today, everyone will be in shorts and t-shirts, moms will be out with the kids in strollers showing off how big junior grew over the winter." LOL!

This happened in JULY. Still, it cracked me up to no end to watch people around SF bundled up like they were going to Siberia. Then I moved to MN, and I adjusted to the cold fairly easily. That's not to say I like it. I'll take SF weather over the crap we're having today...

Actually to the west and north of Wisconsin they are having a blizzard up to 15 inches. Some areas of Milwaukee the far end of the county they've got about 6 inches. If you're near Lake Michigan where I work and live(about two miles) you looking at just some rain. Driving in was no problem. But still one station labeled it the STORM OF THE CENTURY, considering we have a few more of these to come, they went a tad overboard.

In SEATTLE!), there's no way they are mastering ice. (Or 4-way stops or traffic circles. Sigh.)

This winter reminds me of the one we had two years ago. Last year's was mild, we even had highs in the low 60's a few times.
