So, I was wondering if I could get a little input here. These are some of my ideas on sources: 1. I have a few books and pictures of my own that show some of the Disneyland costumes in colored and black-and-white pictures. 2. I also plan to surf the web and try to collect some info. 3. I will be going to the park this weekend and in mid-november, and I will take photos of castmembers, and video as well. I even thought of visiting the Opera House and taking some pictures of photos in the exibits. 4. Lastly, I was thinking maybe City Hall could help me. Or at least, tell me who to write to. Are there any ideas I am missing here? Perhaps, if it weren't too much to ask, some of you, out of the kindness of your hearts, could scan some old photos you might have in your own collections of old DL castmembers in their costumes, and email them to me? If so, I'd be so greatful. Here's what I was thinking in terms of what I'd cover. I'd devide the costumes by their respective "lands" and then devide those into each of the five decades (1955 to date). My paper has to be 5-8 pages long, and I am wondering if that might be too much info to fit in. Any ideas on how to narrow my search? Any help is GREATLY APPRECIATED!!! Thanks ahead of time!

So, fingers are crossed. So, I was thinking what I could do in addition to increase the info I have on disneyland Cast Member Costumes, and I came up with the idea of interviewing some of the cast members themselves(past and present) on LP, and asking them general questions, like the overall design of their costumes, where they worked, what was/ is it like wearing them, how functional they are, etc. So, if you are a cast member, and reading this, could you let me interview you? Just through email or something. It wouldn't take long, and I'd be sooooo appreciative!!!

Several of them did a double take and asked, "ME?"- some even were saying that they were so unused to the idea of people wanting to take their pictures. It was just so interesting to see their reactions! Anywho, I noticed that the uniforms for the Carnation Cafe have been chaged. I don't know how recently, but I guess it would have to have been in the last few weeks. I really like them! So, all in all, a really great experience. I'll be going back this weekend and the weekend after for more pics.
