(who is baffled that Disney isn't doing box sets of their musicals, and other similarly-themed movies, like every other dang studio in Hollywood is)

My wife and I consider that 'our song,' especially the Louis Armstrong version. Love it.

And I third the request for a nice 'Family Band' DVD. It's a perfect Disney movie that gets nowhere near the cred it deserves.

My songs (copied from my 'weird' Disney iTunes playlist):

    'Bout Time
    Sister Suffragette - Poppins
    Gummi Bears Theme
Substitutiary Locomotion - Bedknobs and Broomsticks
    Lavender Blue (Dilly Dilly)
She's In Love - from the B'way Little Mermaid, the only good thing from it
Watch Your Footwork - Happiest Millionaire
God Help the Outcasts - the one by Bette Midler
    Digital Duck (Splashdance rules!!!)
Proud of Your Boy - cut from Aladdin
    The Monkey's Uncle
Magic Journeys - 'you are splashing in the stream of an unremembered dream' - ah, hippies.
Once and For All - Newsies
A Change in Me - B'way B&B, but the version from On the Record
Bill of Sale - Pete's Dragon
He Lives in You Reprise - Lion King B'way
I Wanna Be A Boy (Teacher's Pet ALSO rules!)
The Phony King of England - Louis Prima version
Bravo Stromboli - from the Gepetto musical from the Wonderful World of Disney - one of Stephen Schwartz's best scores
Someday - from the German Hunchback
The Goodbye Song - Bear in the Big Blue House - it's a friggin' bear harmonizing with the moon...how can you not love

Heaven's light/Hellfire - Der Glöckner Von Notre Dame
Someday - Der Glöckner Von Notre Dame
Saul Has Slain His Thousands - King David
This New Jerusalem - King David
One by One - The Lion King (Original Broadway Cast Recording)
    Seize the Day - Newsies
Whale of a Tale - 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea

I just saw NYU's presentation of King David (the first in 11 years) and it reminded me why it is Menken's best music (arguably better than Hunchback but it is a close race in my opinion) and why it needs to have a life.

If it was theme park music it would have to be:

The Legend of Mythica - Tokyo DisneySea (the best theme park score ever written)
IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth - Epcot
The Lion King Celebration - Disneyland
Finding Nemo - The Musical - Disney's Animal Kingdom
