Unless some of the films change schedule and get postponed.. for example if American Dog was flip-flopped with this film, or something and then Rapunzel might get pushed back to 2010 or something.. however that's only a possiblity. Still, timing is a very important thing when releasing a film. Oh well, it may be too early to tell, but I was curious what other people thought.

While from a distance having to wait as far as '10 to see the film might seem unfortunate, but hopefully in the long run that will give them good time to make a really good film, one that hopefully emulates such classics as The Little Mermaid (1989) and Aladdin (1992). I hope they can manage to keep the film in the faithful tradition of animated fairy tales, but without duplicating the past films. As there are obvious similarities with the premise compared to Beauty and the Beast or The Little Mermaid, although perhaps no bigger than the similarities between Snow White and Sleeping Beauty.
