While I was very complimentary in most areas (The Boardwalk and its staff were all first rate this year), I took the opportunity to register my complaints in the questions about my dining experiences. I said that while we were very pleased with the quality of the food at Spoodles (as usual), we were very UNHAPPY with the reduced number of menu items... especially the reduction in Tapas.

I also used it as an opportunity to take a shot at the Disney Dining Plan, and said that I would like to see it eliminated for a variety of reasons.

I don't know if they ever actually read those things, but I certainly hope my opinion may count for something!!

When the consultants told them the fewer choices, the better.

WDW would love to offer 4-5 entrees at every 'fine' dining locale.

All these things really detracted from my latest visit. Dining use to be one of the most enjoyable times at WDW. While I never thought it was a World Class experience at any of the restaurants it was far more enjoyable than it is now under the Dining Plan. I refuse to use it, it is far to much food for my wife, and I, and I think it really has hurt the dinig experience at WDW overall

But the consultants pushed the cruise ship model on WDW management and it lapped it up like a dog with beef in its dish.

HINT TO WDW MANAGEMENT: Fine dining locations don't have paper menus with five entrees.

I would take either one of them over the meals they are dishing out at the Mexican pavilion, inside or outside.
