    Good for Texas. If you don't like, move to someplace like Canada...oh right, the majority of people are against it here too- except our government doesn't listen to us.

    Maine got it right. They rejected a measure that would have repealed a law that prohibits discrimination against gays and lesbians. I can't begin to imagine what kind of person would want to put that on the ballot to begin with.

    Well that takes out most of the left. They apparently are "much smarter" than the rest of society and know what is right for society, and what is wrong. We should all listen to them.

    In reality, these types of decisions which are opposed by such a large majority of the population can only create even more problems and tension when passed.

    That still doesn't change the fact that I don't think rights for groups of people should ever be put up for a vote.

    This was an existing law that was trying to be repealed and the majority upheld the law. How is that causing problems. Workplace equality is SUPPORTED by the majority of Americans.

    He put the proposition on the ballot box. That's why it is about democracy.

    I suppose you think that all laws can't be changed by it's citizens. That's wrong. The people have the right to change the laws.
