Breathtaking. Just like with foley, the scandal is instantly spun like dorothy hammill in a flying sowcow. Suddenly it's the democrats fault. It's really comical to watch it happen. Over and over again.

If you don't like him or his political tactics, the correct solution is don't vote for him. That's the way you handle it in a democracy. Or I thought.

I don't think she intended to mean it that way.

    Mostly WRONG...

Folks who came to the US as immigrants ,and then became CITIZENS can vote....

But folks here legally on visas, or under Permanent Resident Alien status CANNOT vote... As of course, anyone in the US illegally!

FYI, the letter was wrong, and was authorised by a campaign staffer, which was fired once the info came to light.

But you need to be a CITIZEN, and not just have a "Green Card" to vote....

no what's comical here is that if Beau or someone would have posted something with a title like this but included Democrats, you'd have been all over him, but it this case it's just OK because it rips the GOP in the title.

No one spun this to say it's the Dem;s fault - there's that biased comprehension again, all the post was meant to show is that this guy is obviously a low life - and has tried his act on both sides of the political fence -- he is no more a GOP or DEM than the man in the moon, he is an opportunist - but hey, and chance to link him to the GOP will suit your needs. There are two sides to the fence when it comes to low lifes in politics, you just choose to only see one.

Some people here actually do try and look at both sides..but once you try, you get ripped by one side or the other as being, 'gray area' ' non-commital' or as 'solidly GOP' or 'obviously have crossed over to the Dem side' etc. I have received every one of these comments in just a few weeks, now to me that is the comical part. There is NO room in many posters worlds here for anyone not completely commited to their 'side', even when they claim they don't have a side.

Some people eligible to vote may not vote at all because of this letter. The wording of the letter falsely stated that voting by an immigrant is a crime. Since this letter was written in Spanish and mailed to registered Democrats, it was clearly designed to scare a certain demographic away from voting.

Well obviously that's not correct. He's a republican. Not just any republican, but a republican candidate for public office.

"A chance to link him to the GOP"? Are you kidding? As much as you'd like to disavow this guy, he's a republican. Deal with it.

Yes, I find the idea of trying to "Link" him to the GOP kind of ridiculous, in that he IS the GOP candidate. It wasn't exactly a major leap to link him, in that that's what he is running as.
