But agree with others, for us men, its not even about looks half the time, its just having sex with someone else. Minus that guy who found his soulmate in Argentina, these people are not interested in finding the right Mrs. stepford politician wife, they just want a fun fling with ANYONE! Ask Mr. Bill Clinton to keep this non-partisan ;).

But I dont get these people, especially the Republicans. These people are getting more dirty sex than Charlie Sheen these days. What is going on?? They spend their entire platform throwing out 'family values' and spiritual rhetoric just to keep turning their back on it over and over again.

If these idiots wouldnt keep making a big deal about it and, oh yeah, preaching to everyone else when they get caught, maybe the press wouldnt salivate as much about it.

My guess is though is these people really DO believe in what they are saying, at first, but somewhere down the road the power of the office, the money and then the women, the hot ones for a change ;), starts to notice them and they just give in. Sadly it doesnt take much for us men to crumble lol. But, when you are MARRIED and in the public eye and your career is based on being all holy, then abide by it if you want to keep that marriage and job. These hypocrites are only telling others and their sheep that its not possible to stay true to themselves no matter how much they want to.

All I know is by the time 2012 come around, at this rate, Obama wont have to worry about anyone running against him. They will all have resigned fighting their sex scandals ;).

LOL, WTF??? Seriously? This is where his state's tax dollars are going, to stop people from having penthouse magazines in their cars. I really dont get people like this and the south in general. Of course, I'm sure this guy will fight tooth and nail to keep the right to have AK 47's in the car for bunny hunting, but oooooooh no, we cant have nudie pictures or video on someones Iphone in the car, that's obviously why abortion and homosexuality exists now!!

And would someone PLEASE introduce a bill to stop bunny hunting instead. That's just not right :(.

I hope they find a picture with this punk and his trampy intern naked with some poor innocent bunny caught in the middle of their dirty sex to make the voters nail this bastard to the wall!!

I disagree. I think these clowns believe that everyone else is supposed to abide by these rules, but not them. They believe that they are the 'chosen ones' and above the divine laws that everyone else is supposed to follow. The fundamentalist group in C Street preach this to its Congressional members and conservative politicians over and over again.

All of their 'family values' talk is simply another con to get their base to accept them over their Democratic or Independent challengers during elections. These hypocrites are telling these people what they want to hear, in order to win their votes. Otherwise, there wouldn't be so many of them constantly shooting themselves in the foot by preaching one set of values to their constituents and living by the exact opposite.

If only their constituents would finally wake up and realize they're being duped into believing that these sleazebags actually care for them and their values only to win their support. If these 'values voters' would actually back politicians who truly believe as they do, the Republican party would shrink to the size of the Greens.

I'm glad to see these politicians caught in one affair after another. Their family values rhetoric is all a con job that needs to finally stop. I'm hoping that the exposure of C Street and their supremacy elitist thinking will finally nail up their coffin lid once and for all.

I thought it was a pretty left-field argument when I read it, but every time one of these scandals hits I have to wonder if he was onto something.

I didn't state that. I was pointing out the hypocrisy of these politicians having affairs, when they've obviously railed against other politicians having affairs or 'sexapades,' and preaching the "marriage is sacred" pablum during campaigns.

Both the left and the right engage in extramarital sexual behavior. But it's the right wingnuts who campaign on 'family values' and morality and Christian ethics, ad nauseum. They're the ones against gay marriage and family planning/birth control clinics and sex education. So when they get caught in the same exact behavior that they criticize a progressive politician for engaging in, it goes beyond the pale.

John Ensign publicly pledged that he would step down from office if he ever got caught in a sexual escapade, when he was lambasting Larry Craig for his airport exploits, calling for Craig to step down. Well? When's that going to happen? Looks like never. And what Ensign did goes far beyond the ethical boundaries compared to Craig's behavior.

This is the hypocrisy that needs to be called out and put in the spotlight until their 'values voting' constituents finally get a clue. These guys are power mongers and crooks and should NOT be in office. Period.

But you ever see the female protesters at a dem rally. Birkenstocks, some have the dreadlocks thing going. Probably don't believe in shaving.

Yeah I'll take from column A.

A dear happiness to progressive women everywhere.

We female Birkenstock-wearing razor-avoiding Dem protesters rejoice in your selection, thereby liberating us from unwelcome advances.

Birks and goin' natural... the ultimate pre-emptive strikes.

Yeah, exactly, THATS what bothers people. Not the affair, not lying about the affair, mainly the hypocricy that comes from these conservatives who preach on and on about being faithful, family values and why EVERYONE else should step down over something like this until they're caught.

But yes, the Democrats get it to when they are just as hypocritical. Elliot Spitzer anyone? I was one of the people who made a cameo appearance in this section just to pound on that idiot by trying to become the Elliot Ness of sexual vices while breaking the very same laws he was creating for everyone else....on an $80 grand a year hooker habit. I gave him no excuses anymore than I give these idiots.

And to be honest, I have no answers. People stray, thats life. It doesnt matter if you are rich, powerful, poor, ugly, beautiful, religious, etc, it seems to happen quite a lot. But these politicians take the cake. They stand around talking about how great their family life is and how everyone should be like them. Then the truth comes out, which they spend a great deal of time trying to keep hidden, do the formalic "I'm sorry." when the NY Times publish photos and then of course always try to justify themselves and why, despite the fact they told everyone else they should resign over what they did, they of course deserve to stay in office.

Personnally, I-dont-care!! I'm an athiest, sin heathing liberal lol, I really, really dont care who they have sex with: wife, hooker, interns, 3 way gay orgy with farm animals, I DONT CARE!!!! Its a personal matter as far as I'm concerned, its between them and their wives just like anyone else in life. They deal with their own issues, just run the damn government. But when they include the government like Spitzer and Sanford did while also getting on their high horse about it all, guess what, they now MAKE me care ;).

And still, $80 grand a year, I still cant get over that lol.
