Originally Posted By imadisneygal I think any case in which there is DNA evidence from the crime (and DNA wasn't checked the first time due to lack of technology at the time of the trial) should be automatically and immiediately revisited and I don't think that's the case right now. I think the accused/convicted has to appeal and go through all sorts of hoops to even have DNA evidence checked. This is ridiculous that the technology has existed for quite some time and yet this man sat in jail waiting for his appeal or whatever to come up.

Just sayin.>> This might shock you but I'm glad this guy is out if the evidence proved it. His life was ruined and the lives of those related to the victim were ruined. Unfortunately the person that did commit the crime likely was never caught.

My only point is, that people such as yourself who apply such blanket statements to "justice" should keep this sort of thing in mind and not simply assume that everyone *is* in fact a bad guy just because their arrestors say they are.
