This kind of thing happens on Wikipedia ALL the time, since there's nothing stopping anybody from sprucing up their own entry (at least until the Wikipedia cops catch them, which they did in these cases), and anybody who assumes that the info on Wikipedia is correct is really too naive to be allowed on the internet. At best, it's like asking the next stranger you see on the street for the info. He might know what he's talking about, or he might be, well, certain posters from this board. ;-) It's a sneaky trick, but so dang common that blowing the whistle on this one incident is kind of disingenuous in the grand scheme of things. The guy from Wikipedia said they finally just blocked all editing access for all of Capitol Hill a few years ago, because there were so many bogus changes being done by politicians' staffs.
