They interviewed a guy in a Camo hat and shirt and they interviewed him in front of a giant pick-up with a "Redneck" windshield thing across the top and boy was he indignant about Murtha saying he may be a redneck.

    And in 2nd place was McCain's "My opponent has been saying some terrible things about you, and I couldn't agree more!" fumble. Once again, I can relate to doing something like that.

    I swear, this campaign was just bizarre and crazy at every freaking turn. And to cap it off with the most unexpected surprised will make this election season be remembered for a loooong time to come for all the right (and wrong ;)) reasons.

    And one of the funnier retrospective bits I saw yesterday were the various conservative pundits talking about how "excited" people were going to be when Fred Thompson threw his hat in the ring, and what an "exciting" candidate he would be. Yeah. Fred Thompson. Mr. Excitement.
