Wiil Obama or McCain address this? Will anyone ask?

This thing is a train wreck any way you look at it, and it needs to remain squarely with bush and his administration. For Obama especially, it's a delicate situation. The public rightly perceives this as being created by GOP policies, so he doesn't want to get in the way of assigning responsibility for it. Also, a candidate doesn't want to be seen as undercutting the efforts of a standing president in a time of crisis. McCain doesn't have the same luxury of stepping back - he's had an entire career of supporting deregulation and "free markets". Obama's camp has likely decided that it's best for them to stand out of the way and let McCain twist in the wind. So far it's working.
