It does remind me of one of President Reagan's inaugurations, where they canceled the parade, or at least the marching bands in them, because it was too cold. Many of the school bands were heartbroken, after having prepared for the event and traveled to DC, but the decision was made that it was just too cold to hold the parade as planned. The real question is, instead of pushing the Inauguration BACK, why didn't they just move the elections forward a couple of months (to late January, perhaps)? Dummies.
