They hate the President so much, they think they're making him look bad even when they're making him look AWESOME!

I'm surprised, although I shouldn't be, that the Republicans are using the same old tired arguments about him. I think that the "celebrity" aura has worn off of Obama...they should try something a little less...past it's expiration date.

Speaking of cool Democrats, I'm sure you all have seen this hilarious Hillary Clinton meme:

Mine too. Looking at things from a "rich Republican" capitalist point of view that Rush Limbaugh often gleefully promotes, the stock market is up 73% in the just over 3 years since Obama took office. That's quite an incredible gain by any historical standard.

Compare that with the market returns during W's 8 years in office: a 40% decline. So yes, it is a bit of an odd question for the GOP to ask: "Are you better now than you were when Obama took office?" At least for the investor class (which presumably makes up a good portion of the GOP voting block), the answer is a resounding "Yes!"

While one assumes the GOP must be made up of rich people, I think a lot of lower income people are roped in by GOP promises and fear mongering as well and don't think along the lines of stock market increases.
