    He was very much against the Vietnam war, and thought it a conflict unwinable, and unjust.
    I struck me clearly , that had he been alive today, I can not believe he would be supportive of the war in Iraq.
    He was 100% behind the troops, he just didn't agree with America being in a conflict that made them look like an oppressor, not a libirator.

    He was a great man, one worthy of admiration, and respect.
