While it would seem intuitive for the McCain campaign to bring Palin into the limelight so we as Americans can get to know her, by withholding her from the media we have seen them literally fawn all over her. because the McCain campaign has vowed to make her available only when it favors them, the coverage of leading journalists might be skewed in her favor so as to entice her to agree to an interview with them. On top of things, it has made the media obsessed with her, even when doesn’t speak. But when she does speak…holy cow…it’s like grace smiling down from heaven, and she dominates the headlines for three days solid. I think the evidence bares this out. But while a shrewd move, I wonder how long they can continue to employ the tactic. But then, the media are simply marionettes, easily manipulable, and except for on rare Pinocchio like occasions, dumb as wood.

The libs, along with any right wingers who have an ounce of intelligence, know full well that Palin is vacuous and lacking..something which an intensive press conference would reveal to the world in a heartbeat. The fact that the GOP machine has cleverly crafted a strategy to completely avoid that nightmare is what's giving the libs a collective aneurysm. The machine certainly is cunning, baffling, and powerful. Almost like some sort of insidious "disease" infesting the American political system which upon further examination is nothing more than an unhealthy habit which needs to be broken. True conservatives should form a new party and leave "Republican" to the neocons.
