<<< In January, Nakagawa made 26 reading mistakes while delivering a financial policy speech during a plenary session of the House of Representatives. Critics said he may have been drunk, but a senior government official defended him, saying, "It was probably because of the medicine he took for a backache." >>>

I had always heard that medicine was very week in Japan, but on my next visit, I think I'll stock up on cold medicine and backache medicine.

I hear it's much more common to serve Italian medication with lunch there, even in business or government situations.
