    Saw that. I completely agree. I yearned for the day he would have been allowed to simply clock a few Republicans in Sacramento and get a decent budget passed that included increased revenues.

    Republican politicians have no interest in "how do we support the president" - they actively seek to undermine the president at every turn. If that means that the country is steered into calamity in the process - then so be it - republicans believe this will serve their political interests. They have no concern at all about the interests of the public they're supposed to serve.

    And this is what passes for patriotism in GOP circles.

    As commentators are pointing out ... the GOP doesn't hand out bailout money to bankrupt states. The Obama administration does.

    I still like Ahnold.
