In light of the recent British scandal I've decided I'm done with FOX. Hacking cell phones of journalists and celebrities is pretty pathetic. But, to also have been found to hack into the phone of a young missing person and, quite possibly, victims of 9/11? Well, that is just too much for me. I was appaled listening to more detail emerge this morning and I just cannot be party to it by viewing any of the FOX offerings. Now, I still suggest CNN leans left and is pretty blatantly biased at times but...at least as of now...they haven't resorted to this trash. I am SO glad I decided not to pursue a career in the media. I don't consider it a worthy calling as I once did.

You gotta zap ALL of News Corporation or you're wasting your time. And if you aren't willing to boycott "entities you've enjoyed," then you aren't taking this situation very seriously anyway. A pro football team? Seriously? Just my 2 cents. Sorry, I'm kind of grouchy this morning.

Glenn Back was shown the door, in part, because advertiser boycotts ate into the profitability of his program. i don't for a minute believe that Fox had any problem with the nonsense he was spewing on a nightly basis -- it was about money. And they have any number of others on the network saying outrageous things every day. If a large-scale advertiser boycott is launched, much like the boycott against Beck, it could have some serious financial implications on the Murdoch empire.

Now, you may agree or disagree with these actions, or you may not be interested in the reporting, however, it is factually accurate. Some of this reporting (though not in Maddow's case) may even be accompanied by blowhard commentary and obnoxious, over the top hosts like Ed Schultz. However, the reporting and commentary are usually accurate and verifiable. Compare this to Fox where, just yesterday, the host of the Glenn Beck replacement show said, "There were no terrorist attacks on American soil under President Bush" and no one on the panel bothered to correct him. One need only look to last week for multiple comments and reporting on Fox News that is factually inaccurate. At this point, insisting the two are the same means you're just not looking.

At no time, ever, did a terrorist attack the soil upon which President Bush was actually standing. Watch for "Kar2oonMan's Korner" coming to Fox News, 5PM weeknights.
