Let's see. They got the Indiana Jones Adventure, a stage show, displays around the park celebrating the park's history. Nah, you're right, 3d. Who would want any of that?

Disneyland -the person- is such a nice gal that she instead gave WDW 4 new additions for her 50th. She even sent stuff to other second gates around the world. ..And lets not forget she was such a party animal for her 50th that she still knew how to give birth, and out came baby DL in Hong Kong, all at 50 years young! That DL, what a giver! So, spilt milk about MK/WDW's 40th... Anyone? Soarin' & Stunt shows ... Anyone?

While immaterial ones (DL's 35th & 40th) have had an over abundance of pomp and circumstance. They are a marketing tool, no more, no less. A marketing tool that has worn out its usefulness, imo.

I think that's why some people are disappointed that WDW isn't getting anything spectacular. Of course WDW believes guests will continue to visit even without new incentives. So I guess it's pointless to build new attractions, too.

They have also built tangible things at WDW recently, that surely the guest can appreciate and look forward to on their return trip back, such as a new kennel facility, a new Downtown Disney, and Disney Golden Oak retirement village. Most importantly they are building the "Brand" So, whatever, EE. Just open your eyes.
