More proof that there are absolute idiots in Lousiana. Despite the fact authorities found $90,000 in bribe bribe in this guy's freezer, and he's on tape talking about it, voters put him back in. And even better, this low life, who's black himself, somehow plays the race card against a black woman to win. They get what they deserve.

Hopefully, this zit on the butt of society will find his sorry carcass behind bars before too long. Anybody who voted for him should join him.

LOL. Depends. If the bling bling was obtained through nefarious methods, it could be bribe bribe.

When you think about it, it would be a very smart thing for the incoming congress to do. Pelosi has promised ethics reforms, and if they investigate any Republicans for improprities, here's a perfect chance to investigate a Democrat and deflect charges of partisanship. Let's see if they're bright enough to do so.

From what I remember, Congress is the final arbitrator of elections of its members. So it could deem an election invalid even if it has been certified by state authorities. But to use this when there isn't a bona fide question about the election itself would be inappropriate. The Democrats tried to do this with Senator Packwood from Oregon in the 90's, claiming that had the public known about the sexual harassment situation prior to election day, that the vote would have come out different, but that went nowhere. I think Congress would need to seat him and then remove him from office. I think just marginalizing him will be enough, especially if the problem eventually takes care of himself if he winds up in Club Fed.
