    A British tabloid gained some attention for hacking into phone messages of the Royal Family and celebrities, but now there's allegations they did it to a murdered teenager and terror attack victims. It's put Rupert Murdock's style of yellow journalism under scrutiny.

    I saw that. It's one thing (still disgusting and immoral) to eavesdrop on the phone, but for what they did several somebodies need to be prosecuted for obstruction and tampering with evidence. They crossed the line from skeezy tabloid antics into criminal behavior.

    Yeah, I read about the deleted messages on July 4th. My husband made sure to point out to my fundie mom the Fox News connection.

    That being said many in the industry believe a replacement paper, possibly titled the Sun on Sunday will replace it at a later date. And that name was apparently registered only on Tuesday.

    Making it even more disgusting. I don't think anyone's really fooled by that tactic, however.

    But then again, they were a successful tabloid, proving the people they need the most are already easy to fool.
