The truth is that far-left groups in this country will do anything to help the Obama-Biden Democrats win the White House and maintain their majorities in Congress. And last week, we found out they're going even further to win.

The left-wing activist group, ACORN, is now under investigation for voter registration fraud in a number of battleground states. ACORN's political action committee has endorsed Barack Obama and Senator Obama himself has said, "I have been fighting alongside ACORN on issues you care about my entire career." The Obama Campaign even paid more than $800,000 to an ACORN affiliate for "get out the vote activity." And now we find out that ACORN is suspected of voter registration fraud.

But, the Obama-Biden Democrats would rather sweep these facts under the rug and use their mainstream media allies to bury this story. But we can't let that happen. We can't allow leftist groups like ACORN to steal this election.

Our team of reformers is ready to lead. We're ready to tackle issues affecting your family. But we'll get never get there without your support. Will you join our team in the final stretch before Election Day? With your help, I know we'll ensure this election is conducted in a fair manner. Thank you.

    Sincerely,

    Governor Sarah Palin"

"ACORN's activities are poisoning the political system while advocating for Barack Obama's campaign. Make no mistake about it: voter registration fraud has only one purpose and that is voter fraud.

Thank you again for your concern for fair and honest elections, and for your continued support for our campaign.

    McCain Legal Team"

Let's remind people that the reason that then US attorney general Gonzales fired the US attorneys - even registered republican ones - is that they refused to comply with his edict to prosecute ACORN for voter fraud.

Not that they didn't try. But after exhaustive investigations it was determined that there were no grounds for prosecution. The bush administration didn't like that answer and the end result was that Gonzales fired them.

Out of 1.3 million new registrants, there were some registrations that were invalidated. Most were invalidated BY ACORN themselves. However federal law (understandably) requires that ALL registration forms that have been completed be submitted. ACORN complied with the law and submitted them as "flagged" and deserving further investigation.

Also, as much as the McCain campaign wants to tie Obama to ACORN, guess who was ACORN's "keynote speaker" at their 2006 rally? Why none other than John McCain. Boy he must've been proud of that one.

Whomever THEY choose to be the next president of the United States is going to be allowed to live in the White House. The voting process in America is merely a false formality to make everyone THINK they had a say in the matter. Some day this fact will be revealed but, until then, it's interesting to watch all the senseless drama.

Charming. Now let's have a look at the actual voter suppression record of Tom Feeney himself - three time winner of "Most Corrupt Members of Congress" award.

    >> Rep. Tom Feeney (R-FL) is a third-term member of Congress, representing Florida’s 24th congressional district. Rep. Feeney’s ethics violations stem from his relationship with convicted lobbyist Jack Abramoff and three trips he took in apparent violation of House travel and gift rules. Rep. Feeney was included in CREW’s 2005, 2006, and 2007 congressional corruption reports. <<

    <a href="http://www.crewsmostcorrupt.org/summaries/feeney.php" target="_blank">http://www.crewsmostcorrupt.or...eney.php</a>

    >> Feeney, as Speaker of the FL House in 2000, promised to award all of the state's electoral votes to George W. Bush no matter what the ballots and Supreme Court had to say about it. <<

    >> Tom Feeney is alleged to have commissioned vote-rigging software for touch-screen voting machines in 2000, as testified to by former Republican software programmer Clint Curtis in a sworn affidavit, sworn testimony to congress, and a successful polygraph test. <<

Even fellow republicans are finking this guy out.

For all of the right wing tools running around yelling "voter fraud" about ACORN, it should be noted that none of the charges - that's NONE - have ever been substantiated. Not one. So you'll hear them talking about dead people, illegal aliens, and people casting twenty to thirty ballots - it's all just scurrilous lies from the republican party. More of the same from some of the most disreputable people imaginable.

    <a href="http://blogs.wsj.com/washwire/2008/10/13/acorn-fires-back-at-mccain/" target="_blank">http://blogs.wsj.com/washwire/...-mccain/</a>

“ACORN to McCain: Have You Lost That Loving Feeling?” reads a release by the organization this afternoon, noting that McCain was the keynote speaker at a Feb. 20, 2006 Miami rally cosponsored by Acorn to build support for a comprehensive immigration reform bill co-sponsored by McCain and Sen. Edward Kennedy of Massachusetts. The bill never passed Congress.

In a statement, Bertha Lewis, chief organizer of Acorn, sharply attacked McCain, suggesting the 72-year-old senator is “erratic”—a word that Republicans believe Democratic opponents use against McCain to stir up concerns about his age.

“Maybe it is out of desperation that Sen. McCain has forgotten that he was for Acorn before he was against Acorn; he was for immigration reform before he was against immigration reform; and he was a maverick before he became erratic,” Lewis said.

She added, “We are surprised at his efforts to vilify an organization that, until recently, he saw as an ally. Maybe this surprise attack and change of heart is indicative of his state of mind, and the way he would govern.”

    Politics are soooo confusing! LOL.

Long stories made short, she purchased a $1.8 million mansion in West Palm Beach (just down the road from Rush) but was not ready to take occupancy. So instead she filled out a voter registration form - that included the "oath" ...

"All information on this form is true. I understand that if it is not true, I can be convicted of a felony of the third degree and fined up to $5,000 and/or imprisoned for up to five years."

But the information on the form wasn't true. She provided her realtor's address - where she never spent a single night. The realtor later testified that she provided the address to Coulter as a courtesy so she could receive mail.

The entire story is fascinating with a lot of juicy details - including the fact that Coulter was LITERALLY "in bed" with the FBI guy assigned to investigate. Eewwww.

It was originally published in Hustler, and is reprinted at this link. Fun stuff.

"A goldfish's lifetime ago, Sen. John McCain was happy to accept the honors and acclamation of the Service Employees International Union, People for the American Way, UNITE HERE -- and ACORN. Here he is, on Feb. 20, 2006, telling immigration rights activists at a rally in Miami that they "are what makes America special." ACORN co-sponsored the rally, and its volunteers surround McCain, and while there's no evidence that McCain ever formally teamed with the group, the video serves as a reminder that he did not mind being associated with them when the politics of the moment were different."

"A few weeks ago, House Republicans screamed bloody murder when it appeared as if ACORN would benefit from the bailout bill, although McCain, President Bush and House Republicans have supported legislation with similar provisions before and they spent billions on the Road Home project, which contracts with ACORN to help provide housing for Katrina refugees. (You can't say...ah, but ACORN wasn't suspected of doing anything bad earlier... you can't say that because ACORN has been doing what ACORN is accused of doing for several cycles now.)"

"In 2008, of course, ACORN has become a stand-in not only for the registration fraud allegations, but also for the coincident insinuations that Sen. Obama and his liberal allies are trying to steal the election in battleground states. Indeed, because "ACORN" has become a national political issue, it will be hard for Republicans to use it as a political wedge issue. Once an attack is associated with a party, it doesn't become an attack; it becomes part of party dogma and can service only party activists."

"McCain had no trouble fraternizing with ACORN in 2006 when their political interests coincided with his. Now, his campaign is writing e-mails in his name bashing ACORN as a tool of the Obama machine."

"That’s not working out so well now, is it?"

    One more indicator, I suppose.
