    I really like Hitchens. His foreword to Ayaan Hirsi Ali's book is worth the price alone. His books on Mother Theresa and "God is not Great" are flawed in some ways but are very important contributions for presenting contrary perspectives on nearly universal beliefs.

    But, like Hirsi Ali, I especially like him for refusing to play the politically correct games with Islam that says it's a religion of peace. Islam has more than earned his criticism.

Like Bill Buckley, he's one of those people who can intimidate others just through his bearing, speaking style complete with 20 dollar words, and absolute conviction that he's right at all times.
