In an effort to eliminate federal funds for abortion, the GOP is redefining "rape" so that fewer women would qualify as "rape victims" to terminate a pregnancy.

The GOP is changing the definition of what qualifies to only "forcible rape" (you know, as opposed to fun rape). What does that mean practically? If you're a victim of incest, or drugged and raped, date raped, or even if you're mentally disabled, no abortion for you.

So ladies, just make sure if you're going to be raped, do it lying in your bed at home when a stranger climbs in through the window with a gun and properly rapes you. None of this namby-pamby "date rape" stuff.

For the last two years we've watched Obama work tirelessly to try and fix the economy, addressing jobs, banks, and healthcare to try and control costs and spending. He hasn't always been perfect and he hasn't always been right, but at least he's worked to accomplish SOMETHING.

What has the GOP tried to do since taking office? Pander to their base with bills they know won't pass. What are their solutions for fixing the economy? Anything at all beyond undoing everything Obama's tried to do? I know Americans have a short attention span, but the economy crashed before Obama took office. His legislation isn't the problem, so why is that the only thing the GOP is interested in doing?

Conservatives, wouldn't you rather have someone who at least tries to do something instead of a group of people who pretend like there's no problem in the first place, or who focus on the wrong problems (like the size of government). The GOP is the E.R. doctor who gets a patient with a gunshot wound but instead treats their restless leg syndrome.

If jobs return and unemployment goes down, the party in charge will be given the credit.

    Who's in charge?

    Not the GOP.

Therefore... the GOP needs unemployment to remain high until November 2012 so they can take back the Senate and the White House.

The Republican-led House of Representatives will do absolutely NOTHING until the GOP takes back control of Washington.

GOP extremists continue to push the boundaries of morality and decency, to everyone's detriment. Hopefully, folks will wake up to this crap of theirs and vote these clowns out of office in 2012.
