I actually commend these guys, dont agree with them lol, but it is nice to see difference of opinion out there and that not every Black person thinks alike on this issue. A little diversity in diversity, what America is SUPPOSE to be about.

I been rasied a life long democrat in a very liberal Black family (we didnt even go to church lol), so its not the experience I grew up seeing Black people for Republicans. I KNOW they are out there ;), just never actually met any.

So, nice to see and judging by their answers they are obviously very loyal to the party....but it still scares me to know that they probably voted for Bush lol.

Was this the interview where the dude in glasses said he was getting death threats WD? I saw that one. He is one of the guys who spoke at the same rally that the old broad called Obama an Arab.

But, I lol when I saw the guy at the McCain rally speaking, all the people were clapping hard when he got up and it was sort of saying to me 'look at that, one of 'em is here with us, see we aint so bad afterall.' ;)

I actually don't see a conflict with large numbers of blacks being Republican, since many blacks share some of the conservative religious views that have defined that party for the last 20 years or so. What I do find strange is a black person supporting this particular Republican ticket. Now that just doesn't make any sense to me.

Huh, what do you mean? CNN obviously wanted an interview and go them. But yeah, it IS nice to see. Truth is, where I'm from, as was highlighted in the interview, these guys would be considered a sell out, a traitor and all that stuff, but of course not everyone thinks that way. I know most of my friends though as seeing Black people being as Democrat as they are Christian which always seem odd to me, but there it is.

I think we have to break free of these stereotypes and this clip reminds me of the idea that people voting for Obama because he's Black is a misnomer. Truth is, if he was a Republican candidate he would get very little support from most Black people right now, although I imagine more than the usual candidate assuming he was more of a moderate candidate than the neocon Bush turned out to be, but this is all opinion.

LOL, true, but I'm originnally from Compton and TRUST ME, that's not the thinking there unfortunately at all. Obviously not all, everyone is different, but the majority sure. People look at Blacks joining the Republican party as the next step to bleeching your skin. It's weird, but there it is.

That's true, a large number who are deeply religious usually are socially conservative...and yet vote democrate 9 times out of 10 lol. And I agree Hans, I dont really understand why they would be for THIS ticket, but again its really hard for me to wrap my head why would they be anymore for the Bush and Cheney ticket or the Bush and Qualye ticket as well? But, I AM biased, I just can't really see it personnally, but who knows? It could be as something simple as the abortion issue--a one item vote or it could go as high as believing government should intervene as little as possible that the Republican party mantra cites over and over again, but this White House has proven does everything but that.
